When you watch a dancer, not only do you see her steps and her rhythm but you will see how she is using, line direction, focus, even her breath!.  Keep all these in mind when contemplating your performance.  (Look for more articles on individual subjects and we look forward to your contributions)

1. When you are responsible for presenting a performance or show, ask a friend or student to help by acting as stage manager.  The acting manager can take charge of the music, help with the dance order and do any last minute stage check.  This will keep the performance moving along in a more timely and organized manner..Adayna

2. Prepare a written introduction when going to perform. To make it more interesting tell something about where the music or dance is from or tell a little about what the music says to you. Naj

3. Check your facial expressions when you dance. (Imagine my shock, when I saw  myself on video.  I was trying to help my hip move by using the side of my mouth. )  Badrea

4. When performing be sure to Complete the move and release the energy all the way through the tips of your fingers.  An incomplete move is like and incomplete sentence!

19. Find something to compliment a performing dancer about, it helps her and your immensely to know what looks good on stage.  It may make an incredible difference to the performing dancer and her future performances.  Sandra

20. Eclypse's extra special tip, to improve your body waves, get a large poster of  your favorite idol; Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson , Anthony Sabato or another favorite hunk  Get up close and perform your sultry body waves to the poster The girls of Eclypse
